The
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan through
its funds intends to finance the cost of construction
of the New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA)
and intends to apply a portion of the eligible
payments under the contract(s) for which this
pre-qualification is issued. |

The Civil
Aviation Authority hereinafter referred to as
“ The Employer” intends to Pre-qualify
international Firm(s) / Constructor(s) for the
works of New |

 |
Passenger Terminal
Facilities. |
 |
Support Facilities. |
 |
All other Land side and Airside
Facilities required for an international
Airport including infrastructure. |

 |
Pre-qualification
is open to all international Construction Companies
having undertake similar works in other than their
home country. Foreign firms shall include participation
of Domestic Constructor(s). |

Interested
companies may obtain the Pre-qualification Documents
from the office of the Employer or may request
to mail at the address given hereunder. The request
must clearly state “Request for Pre-qualification
Documents for New Islamabad International Airport
(NIIA)”. |

The documents,
if requested by mail or courier, will be promptly
dispatched by mail or courier, however, under
no circumstances the Employer will be responsible
for late delivery or loss of the documents so
mailed or sent by courier. |

Application
for Pre-qualification must be clearly marked “Application
for Prequalification for construction of New Islamabad
International Airport (NIIA)” and delivered
in sealed envelope by hand or through registered
mail/courier at the address given hereunder by
June 30, 2006. |

Only Constructor(s)/
joint venture(s) pre-qualified under this process
will be invited to bid. CAA has right to accept
or reject any or all applications without assigning
any reason. |
